Multi-Media Filters
Series
4000

APPLICATIONS

  • Used as a Primary Filter for water from open reservoirs and recycled water
  • Most effective for filtration of water heavily contaminated with algae and organic matter

ODIS series 4000 gravel or sand filters, are most efficient for the filteration of water heavily contaminated with algae, organic matter and other impurities, such as in open reservoirs and recycled water systems.

Series 4000 filters use a unique design based on a bottom double-chamber, divided by a steel plate covered by "mushroom" diffusers. These diffusers disperse water evenly, using effectively the whole filter's volume, and avoiding the occurrence of channeling or caking.

Series 4000 filters are particularly suitable for backflushing.
